Recently, as a result of Corona 19, there is a telemedicine system, which is attracting attention in the medical world, which is a system that can instantly transmit and receive medical information through various communication means at spatially distant points. It is said that the Korean government has not yet adopted this system. However, this essay agrees to the Korean government adopting the system. First of all, if this system is adopted, the treatment of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 or easily transferable diseases can be made safer. In Korea alone, there are many cases of infection by medical staff due to corona patients, and this system can eliminate them. Already in the United States, when the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, the federal legislature passed a bill to support public health insurance for non-face-to-face care until the COVID-19 outbreak was over, and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) also recognized the cost. It is said to provide guidance on this. Second, medical services and health care can be performed more conveniently for patients in remote areas or remote areas. There are not many hospitals in remote areas, and there are many people who cannot receive medical treatment because the elderly live a lot. Such problems can be solved. By enabling validation and administration of medications, the overall cost of health care can be potentially significantly reduced. In addition, telemedicine has the effect of medical education by making it possible for workers to see and learn experts and to share best practices much more easily. Third, this is because similar results are produced through the telemedicine system, but most of the telemedicine is considered inaccurate. However, remote monitoring, known as self-monitoring or self-test, allows professional medical staff to remotely monitor patients using devices of various technologies. This method was initially used to manage chronic diseases or certain conditions such as heart disease, diabetes mellitus and asthma. These services have health outcomes comparable to the traditional way of face-to-face with patients. Therefore, it would be better to use simple telemedicine, which is cheaper and less expensive. In Korea, in 1988, in order to solve the problem of lack of ability to read medical images in medically vulnerable areas, the remote imaging test project conducted between Seoul National University Hospital and Yeoncheon Health Center began as a pilot project, and has been continuing the prestige of non-face-to-face medical care for more than 30 years. We hope to introduce a telemedicine system in Korea by continuing to strive for telemedicine. |
