The U.S. unemployment rate rose to an average of 3.5 percent throughout 2019, which shows a sharp increase to 14.7 percent in April 2020, when the Coronavirus began to rise. The use of robots would have been made in 2019, so I think it is somewhat inappropriate to argue that robots contribute to job losses and to mention the unemployment rate of the coronavirus that is not related to this.
