You said you don't need a zoo to preserve the ecosystem, but I don't think so. Already wild now is surrounded by roads, poachers and many other dangers. So the more nature will be develop, the less place will be to live, and eventually endangered animals will be more likely to go extinct. Therefore, you need to raise them at the zoo and defend their species.
