[2316 윤지섭] In fact, looking at this type of writing raises the question of why only 'game' addiction is the 'only' problem.
The World Health Organization's standards for game addiction you mentioned are very vague. Add other social and cultural entertainment to that standard instead of "game." There is no awkwardness. Because that standard is not only about "game addiction," but just about addiction, to put it concretely, about "act addiction."
I also find serious errors on the first evidence you provide. The game used in that study is a game that requires simple repetitive actions. But now social culture is gradually becoming more advanced and games are changing their characteristics. Just like retro games from the 1980s when the game industry just developed, gradually advanced games are now taking over the game industry with a specific purpose like learning the rules of the game to achieve that goal, not just a repetitive game,
Also, as you have argued, if someone describe a real sport and board games as a "game," will this must be viewed with a negative and blind eye? Classifying game addiction as a disease with experiments that didn't even have specific standards and strain control would only strengthen our prejudices and have no benefit.
