[2313 여준오] I aslo think classifying game addiction as disease is not appropriate. If game companies should pay 0.35 percent of their annual sales in tax, Korean game industry could be weakened, which has a bad influence to Korea economy.

I saw well your opinion about this topic, but I have some doubt about your grounds of argument. Firstly, In my think you have come to that point of view(deny the new policy) because you approach with only of economical perspective, as a result, you only watch the result, not the process. So there are so many missed points. Secondly, you said that by gaming, people could access the achievement. But actually, Saying that the reason why people play games is to get ‘achievement’, which is hard to approach in reality is wrong. The reason you claiming is actually the key point of game addict.

[2208 김이상]]You told me that you saw only the results, not the process. However, since there are currently no exact criteria for game addiction, I think it is right to argue with only tangible results. Why do you think achievement is the key to game addiction? It is clear that achievement is a human instinctive need and can achieve it in games. And besides games, you can achieve achievements in cooking, playing hide-and-seek, playing card games, etc. It's just using a tool called games to achieve their accomplishments, and game addicts suffer from a disorder called self-control, not because the reason is games.

[2219 이상현] As you point out, we need specific criteria in order to classify game addiction as illness. Without specific criteria, normal people may be recognized as game addicts. Currently, medical experts worldwide remain divided over whether game addiction should be classified as a disease. Thus we should come up with concrete criteria that most people can agree on.
