1821 장혜원) I stand by your arguement and support the classification of game addiction as a disease. As you've mentioned in your essay, there are scientific research findings that game addiction causes problems to our health. I didnt' know that it would cause changes in brain structure before reading your essay. As it is hard to restore changed brain structures, I think that game addiction is very harmful to people's health. Thus, seeing that some countries have already been regulating games before this classification, it seems such regulations have already connoted game addiction as a disease. For these reasons, I advocate your arguement that game addiction should be classified as a disease.

장혜원 :
Thank you for standing my argument. WHO announced that game addiction is a disease, do you know that? Due to this, people can enjoy games for the right attitude.

1520 이정진 - I completely agree with you. I liked your specific rationale that part-time PC room worker was stabbed with a deadly weapon and killed by a game addict, and teen addict stabbed his sister several times with a knife. As you can see from your examples, game addiction, the cause of these incidents, is a serious illness. So I think this is the reason why WHO recently chose game addiction as a disease.

I also think that the fact that Who has classified game addiction as a disease is influenced by events happening around the world.

I agree with you. I was impressed with your opinion that you should have the right attitude for the game. Have you heard that game addiction was recently classified as a disease? It's good that our wishes come true.

First, nobody can gaurantee that these crimes are only based on game addiction. There are various reasons for crimes such as poverty, or personal rancor. Game addiction might affected these crimes, but it's just a possibility. Other reasons could occured crimes in combination with game addiction. Second, we must not treat culture as a disease recklessly. If a person commited a crime after watching a few movies, will we treat movie addiction as a disease and regulate watching by laws? Of course we should try to cure people's damaged mental, but we shouldn't hastly form a definite decision and turn culture as a disease.

For example, you can get neck disc if you put yourself in the wrong position. Actually 10.3% of people have neck disc these days. Also if you keep looking at the small monitor, you may experience dry eyes. Many modern people have this disease because game addicts are increasing.

I totally agree with you. As you have suggested in this essay, the crimes of game addicts have become more frequent in recent years. It is problematic to see game addiction as just a hobby at this point. Moreover, If the government supports the treatment of addicts by defining addiction as a disease, it could prevent more various crimes.
